Prom 2011: Anna

Saturday April 23rd was a busy day!! I did 3 ladies hair for Prom. All three of them wanted something completely different, which was really fun!

She wore a beautiful vintage grey dress and naturally wanted a sweeping vintage look. She brought me a picture of Tyra Banks with a huge sweeping wave on her hair, very old classic look. Anna has short, straight across bangs and normally this look is easier with longer bangs but we decided to give it a shot!! I'd say we were both satisfied...no, more like we were jumping up and down with happiness (I know, we probably got too excited haha) at the final product!! She looks STUNNING, like she stepped right out of that era!! Thanks Anna for being willing to try something different! (I edited these photos with a cool technique called CinemaScope)

{Bride} Aubrey-Bridals

Love this girl. I did her hair for her bridals on Wednesday April 20th. She's getting married May 20th, so watch for her wedding day pics to come next month!!

{Bride} Becky + Bridesmaids-Wedding

Saturday April 9th was one crazy awesome day!!

My cousin Skyler got married to my wonderful new cousin-in-law Becky!
And my family and I took off for an 8 day trip to Maui, our Christmas present (I feel so spoiled).

Skyler's twin sisters and two of my favorite cousins in the whole world, Stacie and Stephanie, spent the night in our little apartment on Friday so we could all wake up and get ready (I was doing their hair of course), and Miss Becky showed up bright and early to have HER hair done! So my bathroom was all sorts of crowded with women while Cam continued sleeping literally just feet away. Thank goodness for earplugs :).

The wedding was beautiful, they were married in the LDS Temple in Salt Lake City, following which my family jumped in a car and jetted out to the airport to catch our flight. THANK YOU STACE AND STEPH for the pictures! Phew! What a day, but so nice to arrive to some warmth and humidity! We had a blast in Maui.
